As promised in the previous article, here is another one of my presets. For free of course!
Would you believe, most of the images can use a quick one-click method to enhance them? This preset is specifically designed for outdoor portraits. The preset works particularly well for images of women. With one click, the preset will enhance the foliage, saturate the colors, soften the skin, deepen the shadows that helps enhance the face, and more! All this in one click. For those that are not familiar with applying the preset, please read my post – Enhancing landscape images with a preset before downloading and using this preset.
As in the previous post, there are some areas of the image that needs to be customized. They are as follows:
- There are two gradients that have been applied. These should be moved around, or deleted till you get the results you like.
- There is one “shadow brush” that works well on areas such as the jawline, arms, etc. This too should be erased and applied on the subject in the right places.
- There is one “skin softener” brush that I typically apply on the forehead, nose, chin and cheeks as needed. This too should be erased and applied in the right places.
- Finally, there are two “clarity ovals” on the eyes to enhance catch-light. If possible use flash when shooting outdoors as I have mentioned in many of my posts.
